ARB Roof Racks & Roof Bars

A roof rack is a valuable and versatile accessory for many touring vehicles, and without one some trips would just not be possible.

It’s the obvious place for lightweight, bulky items that are difficult to fit in the cabin of the vehicle. And with additional accessories now available, such as waterproof bags, you don’t have to worry about your gear being exposed to the elements while travelling.

ARB manufactures both steel and aluminium roof racks to suit a wide range of vehicle types, covering both recreation and commercial applications. Additionally, ARB also stocks Thule and Rhino roof bars and accessories to suit most popular 4WDs, 2WDs and SUVs.

Deluxe Roof Racks

ARB roof racks are built to support the full rated roof load capacity of a vehicle with the mounting system and structural integrity of the rack being designed to withstand the most demanding of conditions. ARB racks are available in a variety of lengths and widths for vehicles with or without gutters, so you can choose the appropriate size to suit your requirements. Supplied with stainless steel hardware, and variable height fitting kits, an ARB roof rack is a great investment for any vehicle.

Both steel and aluminium roof racks are available, and along with fitting a roof rack to your vehicle, you can also select from a number of optional extras to tailor it more specifically to your load carrying needs.

Secure Storage

Top rail sits well above rack floor to ensure a secure load and is constructed from tough, 25mm tube while the bottom rail utilises 35mm tubing.

Steel Specific

Evenly spaced crossbars support the load, which is rated to carry up to 150kg with the additional upgrade option of a fully welded steel mesh floor.

Drainage Channel

Precision cut drainage channel, specifically designed to reduce build up of dirt and accumulation of moisture.

Fitting Kit

Variable height fitting kits include stainless steel hardware and allow even greater flexibility for multi-vehicle applications.

Steel Support Channel

Full length, zinc annealed steel support channel with plastic protection strip to distribute load along the gutter and prevent vehicle damage.

Adjustable Feet and Legs

Pressed steel feet and legs are height and width adjustable, allowing multi-vehicle installations.

MIG welding is used on the joins to ensure the optimum strength of each rack.

Deflector Plate

Air deflector plate significantly reduces wind noise.

Aluminium Specific

A combination of TIG and the acclaimed CMT (Cold Metal Transfer) revolutionary welding process is used to ensure optimum strength of each rack.

Aluminium Specific

An Amplimesh® alloy mesh floor comes standard on the Aluminium Series, which is used to ensure the optimum strength of each rack.

Aluminium Specific

ARB’s alloy racks utilise quality aluminium, making them 40% lighter than ARB’s steel roof racks.

Superior Mandrel Bending

Rails are bent with a mandrel bender, ensuring consistency and even wall thickness across all sections.

Steel Cab Racks

A shorter design that fits comfortably on the roof of a dual cab ute, ARB’s cab racks provide additional storage space for these vehicles.

ARB Canopy Roof Racks and Bars

An ARB canopy roof rack is perfect for carrying timber, ladders and a variety of other equipment. Available in two sizes for dual cab vehicles, both steel and aluminium models are available, incorporating an aerodynamic, durable design. Featuring an open ended design to aid loading, an optional roof rack roller can also be selected (steel racks only) to assist with loading longer items.

ARB’s canopy roof bar systems utilise Thule or Rhino roof bars, supported by an internal steel frame. This ensures that the vehicle, not the canopy, is supporting the load. Both of these roof bar brands offer a massive selection of trade and recreational accessories, making this an extremely versatile system for carrying a wide variety of loads.

Trade Racks

Similar to canopy roof racks, ARB’s trade racks are available as an alternative to deluxe racks for a selection of wagon models. Opening at both ends, a trade rack enables the carrying of longer items, such as lengths of timber and ladders, and can be fitted with an optional roof rack roller.

Touring Racks

Purpose designed to hold an ARB rooftop tent and still provide ample storage at the front of the rack, ARB touring racks are ideal for when a large amount of storage is required. Touring racks incorporate a flat mounting base to affix the tent at the rear of the rack and are manufactured from steel tubing to withstand extreme off-road use.
